Ben Howlett has been the Conservative Party Member of Parliament for Bath since May 2015. [1]

Howlett defeated the Liberal Democrats candidate Steve Bradley with a majority of 3,833. [1] Bradley, who replaced Don Foster the Liberal Democrats MP for Bath since 1992, [2] failed to retain the seat for his party with only 14,000 votes down 27 per cent from the 2010 general election. [3]

Background

Previous roles include a recruitment consultant at Venn Group, managing consultant at Finegreen Associates and national chairman of Conservative Future, the largest youth political organisation in the UK. [4]
