Barbara Thomas Judge has been on the Board of UKAEA since September 2002 and was appointed Chairman in July 2004. She is also Executive Chairman of Private Equity Investor plc, Deputy Chairman of Friends Provident plc and the Financial Reporting Council, and a Non-Executive Director of the DTI's Energy Group Board. She is a former director of Murdoch's News International and has served as US Securities Exchange Commissioner.
