Arjuna Gunawardena is a Sri Lankan security consultant.[1]

Blue Horizon UAV

Gunawardena is the Sri Lankan agent for the Blue Horizon UAV system built by EMIT Aviation of Israel. The Sri Lankan Sunday Leader reported of this system in 2007:

Controversy surrounds government moves to purchase an Israeli built Blue Horizon II UAV system at a cost of over US$ five million by the Sri Lanka Air Force based on an unsolicited offer.
The controversy stems from allegations that the system is untested and had been decided upon without calling for other offers.[2]
