Aleksandr Milinkevich is the President Political Council of Democratic Forces of Belarus[1].

Award

Milinkevich won the Sakharov Prize, the European Union's top human rights honor, in December 2006. Mr. Milinkevich, who challenged the incumbent president, Aleksandr G. Lukashenko, in a widely criticized election in April that year[3]
