Dr. Alexander Moens is a Senior Fellow, Centre for Canadian American Relations at The Fraser Institute and Professor of Political Science at Simon Fraser University. In 1992, he was selected the first Cadiux Fellow at the Department of External Affairs, Ottawa, and in 1999 he was a visiting fellow at the Centre for Hemispheric Studies at the National Defence University, Washington D.C. Dr. Moens is a researcher with the Council for Canadian Security in the 21st Century, and a fellow of the Canadian Defence and Foreign Affairs Institute.
He is the author of The Foreign Policy of George W. Bush: Values, Strategy and Loyalty (2004), and co-editor of NATO and European Security: Alliance Politics from the Cold War's End to the Age of Terrorism (2003). Dr. Moens is also a regular contributor to several American, Canadian and European Journals.
