Ronnie Cowan has been the Scottish National Party Member of Parliament (MP) for Inverclyde since May 2015.[1]

Cowan won his seat by defeating the Labour Party's Iain McKenzie, who had held the seat since a 2011 by-election (caused by David Cairns's death), by 11,063 votes.[2]
