Mark Hemingway is senior counsel at financial services lobbying consultancy Cicero Group.

Career

Hemingway has worked as head of communications at a number of banks including; Halifax, Birmingham Midshires, HSBC, First Direct and Bank of Scotland. At Halifax he aided the banks merger with Bank of Scotland in 2001 and at HSBC he looked after their four main UK brands - HSBC Retail, HSBC Business Banking, First Direct and Marks and Spencer Bank.

After working for HSBC he worked for the Payments Council.

He joined Cicero in 2013 as senior counsel.
