Lars Holte Nielsen
Lars Holte Nielsen, previously head of the Aarhus EU Office from 2003 to 2006, was named Director of the new office renamed as the Central Denmark EU Office. The Central Denmark Office represents in Brussels the Danish Region of Mid Jutland and the 19 municipalities in the Region.[1]
Background
Mr Holte Nielsen was previously a Detached National Expert and Administrator at the DG Competition of the European Commission (1999-2003) and Head of Section in the Danish Ministry for Trade and Industry, firstly with the Department.for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises and subsequently with the Trade Policy Department (1995-1998 and 1998-1999 respectively). Mr Holte Nielsen holds a Masters in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.[2]
