John Richardson Jr. (born 1921) was President of the International Rescue Committee, 1960-1961; president, Free Europe Committee, 1961-1968; United States assistant secretary of state for educational and cultural affairs, 1969-1977; and a board member, National Endowment for Democracy.[1]
