John R. Murphy
John R. Murphy has been a director of Omnicom since 1996. He is Vice Chairman of National Geographic Society, a position he has held since March 1998. From May 1996 until March 1998, Mr. Murphy was President and Chief Executive Officer of National Geographic Society. He is a trustee of Mercer University and Mercantile Mutual Funds, and a director of SIRSI Inc. and eMotion Inc. Mr. Murphy is also a past president of the U.S. Golf Association [1].
