Jean Fournet
Jean Fournet became the NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy in April 2003 and thus the head of the NATO Public Diplomacy Division. Prior to this appointment, he spent two years serving as Assistant Secretary General for Scientific and Environmental Affairs.
As Assistant Secretary, Fournet is in charge of all NATO activities that promote NATO's image internationally and within member countries.
Before joining NATO, Jean Fournet was the National Armaments Director and Director of Co-operation and Industrial Affairs in the Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA) of the French Ministry of Defence.
