General Directorate of State Security (Dubai)

The General Directorate of State Security is a security agency in Dubai. Although theoretically under the direction of the United Arab Emirates' State Security Directorate (SSD), in practice it responds to the Dubai political leadership, according to a US diplomatic cable.[1]
