The Association of Small and Independent Breweries in Europe (S.I.B.) acts as the umbrella organisation of the independent brewers' associations of small and independent breweries in Europe. Therefore S.I.B. safeguards the common interests of the small and independent breweries in Germany, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland and Romania. Being the platform and organ of the small and independent breweries in Europe S.I.B. also lobbies in Brussels and in the several member states of the EC and acts on accentuating the local value of beer and on promoting the concerns of the regional breweries in Europe [1]
