Sir Patrick Walker was the head of the Security Service MI5 from 1987 to 1992.[1]

Walker joined the Security Service in 1963 following a period of service in the pre-independence government of Uganda.f>Former Directors General, MI5, accessed 30 June 2009.</ref>
