Barçın Uluışık did her BA at the Department of English Language Teaching, Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey (1998-2003). While taking master's courses at the Graduate School of Cognitive Science at the same university (2003-2005), she worked as a teacher in the Turco-British Association in Ankara (2003-2007). Having completed her internship with SpinWatch and PIRN (November 2008-February 2009), she is currently writing a Master's thesis at the Centre of British Studies, Humboldt University, Berlin, as well as working as an editor for the MEPedia project of SpinWatch.
