The Sustainable Scotland Network (SSN) brings together practitioners from Scotland’s 32 local authorities to share experience and take action on sustainable development.

The Scottish Executive’s Agreement ‘A Partnership for a Better Scotland’ (2003) states: “We want a Scotland that delivers sustainable development; that puts environmental concerns at the heart of public policy and secures environmental justice for all of Scotland’s communities”. [1]

“The Sustainable Scotland Network is, without any shadow of a doubt, a very valuable force for achieving sustainable development at local level.” Ross Finnie MSP, former Minister for Environment and Rural Development, Scottish Executive. [2]
