British Offset, is a joint initiative by the UK Government and BAE Systems, who manage the Saudi British Economic Offset Programme, a £1 billion investment agreement that offers unprecedented opportunities for international companies as part of the Al Yamamah deal.[1]

The British Offset Committee is chaired by the Head of Defence Export Services and includes representatives from:

• The Foreign and Commonwealth Office • UK Trade and Investment • Ministry of Defence • Merchant bank advisers • BAE Systems • Rolls Royce
