African Coalition for Trade

The African Coalition for Trade, Incorporation (ACT) is, according to its website, "a non-profit, member-supported trade association dedicated to enhancing the opportunities for mutually beneficial trade between the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa and the United States." [1] ACT has a range of individual conmpanies that are registered members that specialise in private sector interests throughout many African countries, including: Botswana, Malawi, Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Mauritius, Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa. A majority of ACT's members come from the textile, clothing and agriculture sectors.
