Moisés Naím is the Editor in Chief of Foreign Policy, a director of the National Endownment for Democracy, the Chairman of The Group of Fifty (G-50), and frequent columnist in El Pais, the main Spanish newspaper.

Naim's columns often appear in El Pais without significant explanation of who he is. Invariably, Naim's columns rail against Hugo Chavez and the Bolivarian revolution in Venezuela, and against the "Islamic Threat".[1]
