Siegbert Alber

Prof. Dr. h.c. Siegbert Alber is a partner in Brussels based lobbying firm Alber and Geiger. He was Vice-President of the European Parliament and Advocate General at the European Court of Justice. Before that, he was a Member of the German Bundestag, Member of the European Parliament and participated on numerous committees, in particular as member, then Chairman, of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Citizens’ Rights. He was further Chairman of the delegation responsible for relations with the Baltic States and of the Subcommittees on Data Protection and on Poisonous or Dangerous Substances.
