UK Strategic Command (also called Strategic Command) was a UK military command and the parent of Defence Intelligence. On 1 September 2025 the Ministry of Defence announced that it had "reshaped the Cyber & Specialist Operations Command (CSOC), following the announcement on 1 July", "building on the foundations of Strategic Command". CSOC "unites Defence’s cyber and specialist capabilities under a single command" and "stands as the fourth Military Command alongside the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force".[1]
