The Defence Geographic Centre (DGC) was a Ministry of Defence geospatial organisation within the Joint Forces Intelligence Group. A GOV.UK page published on 12 December 2012 (withdrawn on 16 September 2014) said it was based at Feltham in Middlesex and that its mission was "to deliver geographical information (GEOINF), geographical intelligence (GEOINT), services and liaison to support the achievement of Defence objectives". Its primary role was "to provide land maps, aeronautical charts, positional information, geo-referenced imagery and digital data" for UK defence planning, operations and training.[1]

No later official source found in this draft confirms the DGC's current name or parent formation under the Military Intelligence Services.
