Ken Gerber
Glasgow commercial property solicitor, partner at Mitchells Roberton
Kenneth Steven (Ken) Gerber is a Glasgow commercial property solicitor and a partner at Mitchells Roberton.[1] He witnessed two of the trustees' signatures on the 2022 deed that transferred 222 Fenwick Road to Eastwood Jewish Community Centres.[2]
Career
Gerber graduated in law from the University of Edinburgh in 1978. He was a partner at Kidstons and then, for 12 years, at Anderson Strathern, before joining Mitchells Roberton as a director and partner on 2 September 2019. He is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in commercial leasing and is senior tutor on the Commercial Conveyancing course in the Law Diploma at the University of Glasgow. He wrote Commercial Leases in Scotland: A Practitioner's Guide and Land & Property Development in Scotland – Law and Practice (2017).[1][3]
222 Fenwick Road disposition
The disposition of 222 Fenwick Road by the trustees of Giffnock and Newlands Hebrew Congregation to Eastwood Jewish Community Centres, with a date of entry of 20 October 2022, was prepared by Mitchells Roberton and bears the firm's reference "KG". Kenneth Steven Gerber, of 36 North Hanover Street, Glasgow, witnessed the signatures of Michael Goodman (25 October 2022) and Bernard Louis Cohen (31 October 2022).[2]
Synagogue
A Ken Gerber was elected to the council of the Giffnock synagogue in June 2022,[4] was listed on the Giffnock Newton Mearns Synagogue management committee in 2025,[5] and was listed as the synagogue's chair on its website in October 2026.[6]
