Harry Legge-Bourke is a British businessman and former Welsh Guards officer. He was an early director and head of business development of the private-security company Olive Group (originally Olive Security), founded in 2001; some sources describe him as a founder of the firm.[1][2]
Olive Group
A 2003 Guardian survey of private security firms in Iraq listed Olive Security as "based in Mayfair", noting that its directors included "former Welsh Guards officer, Harry Legge-Burke", and that the firm provided security for television crews and held an early contract from the US contractor Bechtel.[1] A contemporary Independent report also named him as running Olive Security.[3] Later company accounts and reporting credit the brothers Chris and David St George as Olive Group's co-founders, with Legge-Bourke recorded as head of business development from 2002 to 2004.[4]
Later career
Legge-Bourke is described as the chief executive and co-founder of Skylark Defence Ltd, President of the Welsh Guards Association (Merthyr) and the ninth-generation custodian of the Glanusk Estate near Crickhowell, Powys.[5]
