John Collins

Sir John Collins was born in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) and educated in Britain. He is the former chairman and chief executive of Shell UK. In 2002, he took over the chairmanship of Dixons. He is currently the president of the Energy Institute. Previously he was chairman of Cantab Pharmaceuticals and held the same position at National Power for two years.

Collin's first job was with Shell Chemicals in Kenya. According he
