David Jeremy Aron Goldberg (born April 1948)is a Glasgow-based British lawyer with a PhD in Media Law and director with roles in charitable and community organisations, including the New Israel Fund (NIF) and connections to the Glasgow Jewish community, including the Shenkin family and as a volunteer at the weeklyGlasgow Friends of Israel (GFI) stall in central Glasgow.

Career
David Jeremy Aron Goldberg taught at the School of Law, University of Glasgow from 1971 to 2000, founding the Journal of Media Law and Practice (1980) and initiating the teaching of media/communications law and policy at Glasgow in 1983.[11]
He currently directs deeJgee Research/Consultancy; is a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Computer and Communications Law, Queen Mary University of London; and an adjunct Associate Professor of Law at Southwestern Law School, Los Angeles, USA.[11][12]
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts (FRSA) and gained a PhD by Prior Publication from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2012.[11]
He works for the Campaign for Freedom of Information in the UK and carries out international consultancy work.[11]
David Jeremy Aron Goldberg has served as a director in several organisations. He was a director of the New Israel Fund (UK) from 12 December 2003 to 31 December 2011.[13] His cousin Mark Goldberg has also been a director of the NIF (2003-2020).
He has also held directorships in other entities such as THE NICHE NEWS BUSINESS LIMITED (appointed 25 March 2009, dissolved) and was an LLP member of TRILATERAL RESEARCH & CONSULTING LLP (3 September 2013 to 27 October 2014, dissolved).[13]

Community involvement
David Jeremy Aron Goldberg has been active in the Glasgow Jewish community. He contributed an obituary of Lilian Links Shenkin, his mother-in-law.[14] He has been mentioned in connection with Glasgow Friends of Israel (GFI) events and supporters.[15]
