Richard Allan Hecht (born 1975 in Eastwood and Mearns) is international spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces.
His family moved to the occupied Golan Heights in 1983. His parents Valerie Hecht (nee Barnes) and Albert Hecht (born 1949 in the Gorbals.[1]) were married in Eastwood in 1974. Albert was the son of Frank Hecht and Golda Hecht who married in Pollok in 1940.[2]
