Kwasi Kwarteng

Kwasi Kwarteng has been the Conservative Party member of Parliament (MP) for Spelthorne since May 2010. He was elected with a majority of 10,019 in 2010[1] and re-elected in 2015 with a majority of 14,152.[2]
Kwarteng was appointed minister of state at BEIS in July 2019.

Poltical career
Kwarteng was parliamentary private secretary to the leader of the House of Lords Baroness Stowell.[3]
Visit to the United Arab Emirates
Kwarteng was part of a 10-person parliamentary delegation to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in April 2012.
The trip lasted five days and gave British parliamentarians the opportunity to meet with senior government officials and private companies in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The UAE government paid £3,500 toward Kwarteng's travel and accommodation. [4]
