Central Office of Information

The Central Office of Information (COI) was from 1946 until March 2012 the the main British government body dealing with official advertising and publicity. [1] It was established in 1946 after the demise of the wartime Ministry of Information, when individual government departments resumed responsibility for information policy.[2]
