Impetus–PEF (Private Equity Foundation) is a charity comprised of members of the European private equity community. It is described as a 'pioneer of the venture philanthropy model in the UK'. It aims to 'support disadvantaged children and young people from cradle to career'.
Impetus-PEF manages the £135 million Education Endowment Foundation with the education charity The Sutton Trust.

Education campaigns
- Fair Education Alliance, member of. Launched in October 2014, FEA is a campaign with the aim of narrowing the achievement gap between young people from the poorest communities and their wealthier peers by 2022.
