Sam McEwan, Director of McEwan Purvis the Edinburgh based PR firm. From the company website:

Sam McEwan managed GJW's office in Edinburgh for two years and before that developed extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. He led the Scottish communications and public affairs activity of a blue chip multinational company in the electronics industry for eleven years.
In 1993 he joined Scottish Enterprise (the government funded economic development agency) specialising in government/ industry partnerships. At Scottish Enterprise Sam also advised on public affairs issues in the software, textiles, food and biotechnology industries. He has also advised the information technology division of the National Australia Bank on communications and public affairs strategy.
