TES Global is an education technology firm. It is owned by TPG Capital.
Formerly known as TSL Education, it publishes TES (formerly known as the Times Educational Supplement), a weekly UK publication aimed primarily at school teachers in the UK.
It claims to be 'home to the world’s largest online community of teachers' and is a leading player in teacher recruitment. Its real value lies in its 7m million registered users – teachers – who have long used TES as a platform to freely share classroom resources. In February 2015, however, TES made this into an online marketplace, where teachers could buy and sell resources they had created.
