Anne-Marie Trevelyan has been the Conservative Party Member of Parliament for Berwick-upon-Tweed since May 2015. [1]
Berwick-upon-Tweed was previously held by Sir Alan Beith from 1973 until his retirement in 2015. [2] Upon his retirement it was announced that Julie Pörksen would stand as the Liberal Democrats candidate. [3] Pörksen however failed to retain the seat losing to Trevelyan who gained a majority of 4,914. [1]
