David Jones has been the Conservative Party MP for Clwyd West since 2005. [1]
He was appointed secretary of state for Wales in September 2012.[2] He left the Government in July 2014.[3]
In the 2015 general election, Jones retained his constituency seat with 43 percent of the vote and a majority of 6,690. [4]
