Thangam Debbonaire

Thangam Debbonaire is the Labour Party MP for Bristol West. She won the 'three way marginal seat' for Labour with 36 per cent of the vote and a majority of 5,673. [1]
The ITV described this election as a 'Lib Dem wipeout in the West', [2] and Debbonaire was just one of three Labour Party MP's to defeat Liberal Democrat MPs in the West. She successfully defeated Stephen Williams the Liberal Democrats MP who previously held the seat from 2005 to 2015. [2]
