James Davies is the Conservative Party MP for Vale of Clwyd. Davies was elected in May 2015 having gained a majority of just 237 votes. [1] The seat which had previously been held by Labour Party MP Chris Ruane represented a significant gain for the Conservatives and the evident success of their election campaign.
Davies works as a GP for the NHS and has also been a Prestatyn councillor since 2004. [2]
