Martin Rees master of Trinity College and professor of Cosmology and Astrophysics at the University of Cambridge. [1]
He is a former president of the Royal Society, having worked there from December 2005 to December 2010 [1]
Rees was made a life peer and crossbench member in the House of Lords in October 2005 and was given the title Lord Rees of Ludlow. [2]
