Alex Morton is special adviser on housing and planning policy to David Cameron. He was appointed this role in 2013, following a few years at Policy Exchange as a senior research fellow in the Economics unit, with a particular focus on housing and planning issues. [1]
Prior to joining Policy Exchange Morton was secretary to the Conservative Party’s globalisation and global poverty group under the MP Peter Lilley. [1]
