Dr Henrietta Campbell joined the Board of the Food Standards Agency in September 2010 as both a Board member for Northern Ireland and as chair of the Northern Ireland Food Advisory Committee. [1]
Campbell began her career as a general practitioner after studying medicine at Queen's University Belfast. She then chose to follow a career in public health medicine working as the chief medical officer in the Department of Health. [1]
She is now also fellow of the Faculty of Public Health, a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, and an honorary fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners, London and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. [1]
