Justin King is the former CEO of Sainsbury's PLC.
Career
In 1990 King was managing director of Haagen Dazs UK; held senior executive positions in trading, human resources and retail at Asda/Walmart in 1993; and joined Marks & Spencers Group PLC in 2000 and was director of food in 2002.
In March 2004 he was appointed CEO and chairman of its operating board at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Limited and Sainsbury's PLC. In July 2014 he stepped down from his roles with the supermarket group.[1]
In February 2015, it was reported in the Guardian, that King was expected to be part of the team backing the revival of the Manor Marussia Formula One team and that he has taken a role as an adviser to chicken processing firm 2 Sisters.[2]
