Career
From 1990 to 1993, Garrett-Cox worked at Fidelity Invesments and UNI Storebrand; in 1993 she was appointed investment director and head of American equities at Hill Samuel Asset Management; in 2000 she joined Aberdeen Asset Management Ltd as a group chief investment officer, chief executive and executive director; and in 2004 she was chief investment officer and executive director at Morley Fund Management (now Aviva Investors)
In 2007 she was appointed chief investment officer of investment and financial services Alliance Trust plc and CEO in August 2008.[1]
