Paul Wilkinson is the chairman of Thorntons.
Career
Wilkinson joined confectioners Thorntons as a non-executive director in August 2006 and was appointed as chairman in February 2013.
He has previously been chairman of Rank Hovis McDougall; held management roles at Unilever and Grand Metropolitan; and independent director of food group Aryzta AG.[1]
Letter to the Telegraph
On 1 April 2015 Wilkinson was one of 103 business leaders who wrote to the Telegraph praising the British Conservative Party's economic policies and claiming a Labour government would 'threaten jobs and deter investment' in the UK.[2]
