Robert Walker is the chairman of Travis Perkins.

Career

Walker was appointed as a non-executive director of building material suppliers Travis Perkins in September 2009 and became chairman in May 2010.

He has previously been chairman of W H Smith, Williams Lea Group Ltd and BCA Europe and group chief executive of Severn Trent Plc. Walker also spent 30 years with Procter & Gamble, McKinsey and PepsiCo.[1]

Letter to the Telegraph

On 1 April 2015 Walker was one of 103 business leaders who wrote to the Telegraph praising the British Conservative Party's economic policies and claiming a Labour government would 'threaten jobs and deter investment' in the UK.[2]
