Rhydian Lewis is the founder and CEO of RateSetter.
Career
After developing an understanding of banking at Lazard, Lewis saw an opportunity to narrow the gap between what lenders earn and borrowers pay and set up RateSetter in 2010.[1] He was able to set up the firm, with co-founder Peter Behrens, thanks to loans from family and friends amounting to £850,000.[2]
Letter to the Telegraph
On 1 April 2015 Lewis was one of 103 business leaders who wrote to the Telegraph praising the British Conservative Party's economic policies and claiming a Labour government would 'threaten jobs and deter investment' in the UK.[3]
