Carter-Ruck is a London based law firm which according to an article in the Guardian, 'specialise in suing the media for clients including individuals and global corporations'. [1] The firm was founded by Peter Carter-Ruck who was described by a former Carter-Ruck partner as a 'dedicated liar and a reactionary with a lust for cash' who 'did for freedom of speech what the Boston Strangler did for door-to-door salesmen.'
