Cardew Group are a strategic communications firm, set up in 1991, who specialise in helping business leaders to liaise with the media.

Japan Tobacco Industry, controller of 40% of the UK tobacco industry, drafted in Cardew Group to work on behalf of them and the tobacco industry to work against the plans to introduce plain packaged cigarettes.[2]
