UK Friends of the Association for the Wellbeing of Israel's Soldiers
The UK Friends of AWIS (Registered Charity No. 1084272; company No. 4094203) is the UK offshoot of the Association for the Wellbeing of Israel's Soldiers - an organisation established in 1942 by David Ben-Gurion. It says its main objective is 'to promote the wellbeing of Israel's sons and daughters in uniform.'[1]
