Joseph Milton
Joseph ('Joe') Milton is a former employee of the Science Media Centre in London, UK and is now Senior Media Officer at the Australian Science Media Centre.
Background
Education
Milton completed a PhD in evolutionary and environmental biology in 2009. In 2010 he gained a qualification in Science Journalism from City University London.[1]
Career
Journalism
Milton has written for the Financial Times, Nature and New Scientist, 'among others'.[2]
The Society of Biology
Before joining the Science Media Centre, Milton was Assistant Editor at the Society of Biology.[1]
Science Media Centre
In 2011 Milton joined the Science Media Centre in London as Senior Press Officer for Mental Health, replacing [[Claire Bithell] (who was on maternity leave).[1]
Australian Science Media Centre
Milton has recently joined the Australian Science Media Centre in Adelaide as Senior Media Officer.[2]
