Claire Harkins is a social researcher interested in identifying corporate influence on public health discourse and policy. Claire is currently working on a PhD at the University of Bath that explores the governance of alcohol control policy and the role stakeholders in the development and implementation of measures reduce alcohol related harm. Claire is also working on the European Commission funded project ALICERAP, and has responsibility for bringing an understanding of the role of corporations and their proxies to the field of addiction research. Editor of the Alcohol Portal of the public interest research project Powerbase.
