The Association of British Insurers - ABI - represents the collective interests of the UK’s insurance industry.
The Association has around 400 companies in membership. Between them, they provide 94% of domestic insurance services sold in the UK. ABI member companies account for almost 20 per cent of investments in the London stock market.[1]

- Huw Evans, Corporate affairs director, appointed August 2008. Former special adviser to Tony Blair (2005-06) and the Home Office. Formerly of the Royal Bank of Scotland.[2]
- Joanne Segars was Head of Pensions and Savings Association of British Insurers June 2001 — April 2005 She was previously Snr Policy Adviser Trades Union Congress (TUC) December 1988 — June 2001 (12 years 7 months)[3]
